PROVIDENCE – Holy Cross women's diver, junior
Adelle Feeley qualified for NCAA Zone diving during the swimming and diving program's 171-129 loss to Providence Saturday afternoon in Taylor Natatorium.
The loss drops the Crusaders mark to 2-5 overall while the Friars improve to 3-3 with the win.
Feeley placed first in the one-meter dive at 276.07 as the team took first through fifth place.
Freshman
Devin Brindle had three first place showings in the 50 freestyle (27.43) as well as the 100 freestyle (58.99) and the 100 butterfly (1:04.83).
Sophomore
Ainsley Nalen brought home first in the 200 freestyle (2:08.43) and the 200 backstroke (2:19.82).
The Crusaders return to the pool on Sunday, Jan. 28 for a 1 p.m. showdown with Sacred Heart in the Hart Center Pool.
