EASTON, Pa. — The Holy Cross men's lacrosse team fell to Lafayette College, 17-11, in Patriot League action Saturday afternoon at Fisher Stadium.
Senior
Thomas McIntire led the way for the Crusaders (0-11, 0-6 PL) with five goals, his sixth game this season with four or more goals. Junior
Matt Major recorded his third hat trick of the season, netting all three goals in the span of 3:44.
Senior
T.J. Lynch added three points on a goal and two assists, freshman
William Stahl recorded a goal, and senior
Dean DiNanno posted an assist. Freshman
Julian Jenkins tallied his first collegiate goal in the contest.
Junior
Miles Jackson led the way for the defense with three caused turnovers five ground balls on a day. Junior goalkeeper
Dawson Friers recorded six saves on the afternoon.
Lafayette (5-7, 2-4 PL) was led by Kalman Kraham who recorded seven points on five goals and two assists. Charlie Cunniffe followed with six points in a game that saw 11 different Leopards record points. Netminder Joe Doherty tallied five saves in the win.
Holy Cross will return home to Worcester, Mass. face Bucknell University at Kuzniewski Field on Saturday, April 15. Game time is set for 12 p.m., and will stream live on ESPN+.
