BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – In their final competition before the Patriot League Championship, the Holy Cross men's golf team took home fifth place at the Shark Invitational hosted by Long Island on Monday and Tuesday.

Holy Cross totaled an 888 (+48) three round total on the par-70 course. Sophomore Owen Egan fired a team-low 216 (+6) good enough for a share of ninth place. Egan tied for the tournament lead in total pars (41).

COACH'S CORNER:
"During the first two rounds, throughout the lineup we handled the difficult Sethh Raynor designed Brookville Country Club very well," said Director of Golf Steve Napoli. "Unfortunately, we struggled in the final round. This happens from time to time in the game of golf, we will use the final round as fuel for the Patriot League Championship next week, our team will be prepared and motivated."
