WORCESTER, Mass. – Army's Kathleen Sullivan totaled 10 points on three goals and seven assists to lead the 13th-ranked Black Knights to a 23-6 victory over the Holy Cross women's lacrosse team at Kuzniewski Field. The Crusaders fall to 3-6 on the season and 0-1 in the Patriot League, while Army improves to 8-0 overall and 2-0 in the conference.
Sophomore
Ella Kittredge led Holy Cross with a pair of goals, while senior
Christine Fabrizi added one goal and one assist.
The Black Knights started the day with an early 4-0 lead, and later held a 6-2 advantage with 3:26 remaining in the first quarter. Army then ran off nine straight goals to take a commanding 15-2 edge with 4:42 left before halftime. The Black Knights would lead by at least 12 goals the rest of way, eventually pulling away to win by 17.
Holy Cross will return to action on Saturday, March 25, when it plays host to American at 3:00 p.m.
