KINGSTON, R.I. – The Holy Cross women's swimming and diving team took part in day two of the Harold Anderson Invitational hosted by Rhode Island Saturday in the Tootell Aquatic Center.
Overall, the Crusaders slid down two slots in the team rankings to fifth place trailing leader Vermont (606), host Rhode Island (538), Wagner (384) and Maine (371.5).
In the diving events, newcomer
Sarah Grady tallied third place in the one-meter dive (267.45) which was a personal best and an NCAA Zone diving cut while reigning Patriot League Female Diver of the Week
Ciara Scamby finished sixth (252.80). Senior
Katelyn Cerulli also made an NCAA Zone cut at 265.85
Sophomore
Sabrina Conrad continued her strong showing in RI with a second place finish in the 400-yard individual medley at 4:28.84.
Freshman
Devin Brindle placed second in the 100-yard butterfly hitting the wall at 56.18 earning 17 points to the team total.
Senior
Greta Walting recorded second place in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:04.41).
The Crusaders will be back in action for the final day of competition tomorrow.
