WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women's swimming and diving team was upended 197-103 by nonconference opponent Binghamton Friday night in the Hart Center Pool.
With the loss, the Crusaders slide to 1-2 overall on the year while the Bearcats pick up their first win of the campaign.
Senior
Greta Walting touched the wall first in the 100-yard breaststroke earning nine points for the Crusaders at 1:06.22. Sophomore
Ainsley Nalen had a 2:07.98 time in the 200-yard backstroke finishing the event in 2:07.98.
Freshmen
Courtney Boghosian (5:16.36) and
Kat Anticev (5:20.09) placed first and second respectively in the 500-yard freestyle.
Senior
Katelyn Cerulli was the top diver for the Crusaders in the one-meter dive (235.25) which was good enough for second and she had a 240.40 in the three-meter dive.
Holy Cross hosts Maine in a dual meet on Saturday, November 11 at noon in the Hart Center Pool.
