WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women's swimming and diving team fell by a 201-99 score to Patriot League opponent Bucknell on Friday during their home opener in the Hart Center Pool.
The setback sends the Crusaders to 1-1, 0-1 PL on the year while the Bison move to 1-0 and 1-0 in league play.
The Crusaders had standout performances in the 200-yard backstroke as sophomore
Ainsley Nalen (2:05.20) and freshman
Courtney Boghosian (2:08.69) finished in first and second place earning nine and four points respectively.
Freshman
Devin Brindle added nine points to the team total via a first place showing in the 50-yard freestyle (25.01).
Holy Cross is back in action for the Worcester City Championship on Saturday, Oct. 21 hosted by WPI at 9:30 a.m.
