ENFIELD, N.H. — The Holy Cross men's golf team took part in the two day Dartmouth Invitational at the Montcalm Golf Club in Enfield, N.H. Saturday and Sunday.
Christian Emmerich paced all Crusaders tallying a team-low 72 (E) during the second round for a 150 (+6) showing on the par 72 course.
As a team, Holy Cross shot 623 (+47) and dropped 21 strokes of their total in round two.
COACH'S CORNER:
"Coming off our best scores in recent years at the Ryan T. Lee Invitational, we anticipated a strong performance at Dartmouth," said head coach
Steve Napoli. "Unfortunately, we faced a difficult course setup and windy conditions at Montcalm Golf Course. Led by
Christian Emmerich we played much better during the final round, there's plenty of room for improvement in the weeks ahead."
UP NEXT:
- The Crusaders travel to the Autumn Invitational in Lake Placid, N.Y. on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 1 and 2.
