Matthew Sluka of the No. 12/13 Holy Cross football team earned National Offensive Player of the Week honors from Stats Perform on Monday, Sept. 12.
Sluka had a career performance as the Crusaders (2-0) upset FBS foe Buffalo on Saturday, Sept. 10. Â His 46-yard Hail Mary touchdown pass to junior wide receiver
Jalen Coker was the highlight of the 37-31 victory, and was named SportsCenter's top play for Saturday.
Over the entire contest, Sluka rushed for a career-best 146 yards, while also throwing for 238 yards and three touchdowns.
