Ella Kittredge both scored two goals, but the Holy Cross women's lacrosse team was defeated by No. 6 Loyola (Md.) 21-7 at Kuzniewski Field. The Crusaders fall to 4-7 on the season and 1-3 in the Patriot League, while the Greyhounds improve to 10-1 overall and 3-0 in the conference.
After Kittredge scored the first goal of the game for Holy Cross, Loyola went on a 10-1 run to claim a 10-2 lead early in the second quarter. The Crusaders were able to trim the margin to six (11-5) with 6:30 left before the break, but the Greyhounds came back with three of the next four goals to lead by eight (14-6) at halftime. Loyola then outscored Holy Cross 7-1 in the second half to pull away for the victory.

Isabela Miller all scored goals for the Crusaders, while senior
Grace Flink and sophomore
Tori Cini combined to make 11 saves. The Greyhounds were led by Livy Rosenzweig with four goals and two assists.
Holy Cross returns to action on Saturday, April 9, when it heads to Lafayette for a 12:00 p.m. game.
