WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross baseball team fell to Bucknell, 8-0, in the weekend finale between the two teams on Sunday, April 17 at Hanover Insurance Park at Fitton Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Bucknell loaded up the bases with nobody out in the top of the second inning, but the damage was limited to just one run on a sacrifice fly, as junior starting pitcher Nate Chudy struck out a pair of batters in the frame.
- The advantage grew to 3-0 in the fourth inning and 6-0 in the fifth inning after the Bison capitalized on a pair of Crusader miscues.
- A sacrifice fly and a Holy Cross error scored two more runs for the Bison in the seventh.
DUE UP:
- The Crusaders play a midweek Patriot League contest against Army on Wednesday, April 20.
- First pitch is set for 5 p.m. at Hanover Insurance Park at Fitton Field.
