WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior
Jolie Creo recorded three goals and three assists, but the Holy Cross women's lacrosse team was defeated by No. 24 Navy 13-9 at Kuzniewski Field. The Crusaders fall to 5-8 on the season and 2-4 in the Patriot League, while the Midshipmen improve to 12-2 overall and 6-0 in the conference.
After Navy opened the game with an early 1-0 lead, Holy Cross ran off four straight goals to go up 4-1 with 5:26 remaining in the first quarter. The Midshipmen responded by scoring five of the next six goals, and the game went into halftime tied at 6-6. Navy then outscored the Crusaders 6-1 in the third quarter to take a commanding 12-7 advantage. Holy Cross was able to cut the margin to three (12-9) with 6:50 left to play, but the Midshipmen held on for a 13-9 win.

Isabela Miller both scored two goals on the day, while senior
Grace Flink made 12 saves in net. Navy was led by Reagan Roelofs with three goals.
The Crusaders will return to action on Wednesday, April 20, when they travel to Colgate for a 5:00 p.m. game.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
• Creo now has 174 points on 127 goals and 47 assists in her collegiate career. She moves up to fifth all-time at Holy Cross in points, goals and assists.
• The Crusaders' nine goals were the most allowed by Navy against a Patriot League opponent this season.
