HAMILTON, N.Y. – Senior
Jolie Creo totaled five goals and three assists, but the Holy Cross women's lacrosse team was defeated by Colgate 16-15 in overtime at Andy Kerr Stadium. Creo now has 75 points this year on 51 goals and 24 assists to tie Patricia Sutton's school single-season record for points scored. The Crusaders fall to 5-9 overall and 2-5 in the Patriot League, while the Raiders improve to 4-11 on the year and 3-4 in the conference.
After Colgate held a 10-7 halftime lead, Holy Cross scored the first three goals of the third quarter to tie the score at 10-10. Neither team would lead by more than one goal the rest of the way, and the game went to overtime tied at 15-15. After the Raiders won the opening draw of the extra session. Lucy Licata scored on a free-position shot to give Colgate the victory.

Christine Fabrizi and freshman
Isabela Miller both had two goals and one assist on the day, while junior
Jenna Giardina added two goals. The Raiders were led by Cara O'Reilly with five goals.
The Crusaders will return to action on Saturday, April 23, when they travel to Lehigh for an 11:30 a.m. game.
