WORCESTER, Mass. – Freshman
Isabela Miller totaled six points on five goals and one assist to lead the Holy Cross women's lacrosse team to a 19-12 victory over Boston University at Kuzniewski Field. The Crusaders improve to 4-6 on the season and 1-2 in the Patriot League with the win, while the Terriers fall to 0-10 overall and 0-4 in the conference.

Jenna Giardina added three goals each for Holy Cross, while senior
Jordyn Arakelian tied her career-high with three assists. Senior
Grace Flink picked up her fourth victory over the season in goal while making 10 saves.
The game was tied at 1-1 early on, before the Crusaders ran off six straight goals to take a 7-1 lead early in the second quarter. Miller scored three times during that spurt. Holy Cross led by as many as eight goals late in the quarter before eventually holding an 11-4 halftime lead.
Boston University was able to trim the margin to five goals (14-9) in the third quarter, before the Crusaders ran off the next three goals to regain control. Holy Cross then led by at least six the rest of the way, going on to post a 19-12 win.
The Crusaders will return to action on Saturday, April 2, when they play host to No. 6 Loyola (Md.) at 3:00 p.m.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
• Holy Cross defeated Boston University for the first time since 1996, snapping a 10-game losing streak against the Terriers.
• The Crusaders' 19 goals were their most against a Patriot League opponent since defeating Bucknell 19-13 on April 6, 2019.
