WEST POINT, N.Y. — The Holy Cross women's tennis team was defeated by Lafayette 4-0 at the Lichtenberg Tennis Center. The Crusaders fall to 5-9 on the season, while the Leopards improve to 3-8 overall.

Lafayette began the day by sweeping all three of the doubles matches. The Leopards then posted victories at No. 2, No. 5 and No. 6 singles, before the rest of the matches were stopped after the overall outcome had been determined.

Holy Cross returns to action on Saturday, April 2, when it plays host to Franklin Pierce at 12:00 p.m.
