WEST POINT, N.Y. — The Holy Cross men's tennis team was defeated by Army West Point 4-0 at the Lichtenberg Tennis Center. The Crusaders fall to 1-8 on the season, while the Black Knights improve to 12-11 overall.
Army began the day by sweeping all three of the doubles matches. The Black Knights then posted victories at No. 1, No. 3 and No. 6 singles, before the rest of the matches were stopped after the overall outcome had been determined.
Holy Cross returns to action on Saturday, March 26, when they remain in West Point, N.Y., to face Loyola (Md.) at 9:00 a.m.
