NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – Senior
Jordyn Arakelian totaled a career-high six points on three goals and three assists as the Holy Cross women's lacrosse team posted a 20-7 victory over Merrimack at Duane Stadium. The Crusaders improve to 3-4 on the season with the win, while the Warriors fall to 0-4 overall.
Holy Cross opened the game by scoring four straight goals and would go on to take an 8-2 lead midway through the second quarter. Merrimack responded by netting the next four goals to trim the margin to 8-6 at halftime.
The Crusaders regained control of the game in the second half, running off nine consecutive goals to take a 17-6 lead with 11:09 left in the fourth quarter. Arakelian scored all three of her goals during that game-clinching spurt, while freshman
Lindsay Hult and freshman
Ella Kittredge added two goals each. Holy Cross then pulled away down the stretch to win by 13.

The Crusaders will return to action on Saturday, March 19, when they travel to Army for a 3:00 p.m. game.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
• The 20 total goals scored were Holy Cross' most in a single game since a 21-9 victory over Hartford on March 9, 2019.
• The Crusaders had four players post hat tricks in the same game for the first time since Feb. 23, 2013, in a 16-13 win over Yale.
