WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women's ice hockey team fell to New Hampshire, 5-2, on Saturday, Feb. 12 at the Hart Center Rink.

Kailey Langefels each scored a goal for Holy Cross (3-27, 1-24 Hockey East), with Langefels also blocking four shots.
Shea Verrier and Annie Berry each notched a goal and an assist for the Wildcats (11-17-2, 9-13-2 Hockey East).
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- New Hampshire took a 2-0 lead by the 10:28 mark of the first period.
- Langefels capitalized on a 5-on-3 opportunity for the Crusaders, scoring to bring Holy Cross within 2-1 at 18:07 of the first.
- Brianna Brooks scored at 8:26 of the second to bring New Hampshire's lead back to two goals.
- Just one minute later, Johal redirected a puck to score and bring Holy Cross back within one.
- The Wildcats scored two more goals in the third to secure the victory.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- Johal has scored a goal in back-to-back games, bringing her team-leading season total to nine goals. She now has three goals in the last four contests.
- Langefels' goal was her first of the season.

- The Crusaders are slated to face Merrimack in a home-and-home series to round out the regular season.
