The Holy Cross men's ice hockey team will head to Colorado to face Air Force in a pair of road games on Friday, Feb. 11, and Saturday, Feb. 12. Puck drop is set for 9:05 ET p.m. on Friday at the Cadet Ice Arena and 7:05 p.m. on Saturday.
THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT HOLY CROSS (8-19-2, 6-12-2 AHA):
- Most recently, Holy Cross split a pair of contests with Sacred Heart, winning the opening game on Feb. 4, 1-0, and before falling on Feb. 5.
- Junior goaltender Matt Radomsky posted the team's first shutout of the season and the third of his career in the weekend opener.
- In the win, sophomore right wing Alec Cicero earned his 10th point of the season and became the seventh Crusader to record double-figure points this season.
- Sophomore defenseman Jake Higgins tallied his first career goal in the matchup on Feb. 5.
SCOUTING THE FALCONS (11-13-2, 9-9-2 AHA):
- Junior defenseman Brandon Koch leads the conference with 19 assists this season.
- Sophomore forward Will Gavin is tied for the conference lead in goals (13) and game-winners (4).
- Gavin has also scored a point in each of the last seven games.
- Senior goaltender Alex Schilling is coming off of a season high in saves (39) against Canisius on Saturday, the second highest of his career.
LAST TIME THEY MET:
- The conference foes did not play during the shortened 2020-21 season.
- Holy Cross hosted Air Force for a pair of games on Jan. 24 and 25, 2020, going 2-0 on the weekend.Â
