The Holy Cross men's ice hockey team hits the road to face Atlantic Hockey rival Air Force on Friday, Dec. 2 at 9 p.m. ET and Saturday Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. ET. The contests will stream live through FloHockey.

THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT HOLY CROSS (3-12-1, 2-7-1 AHA):

• Holy Cross went 1-2 last week, falling to No. 13-ranked Merrimack on the road Tuesday, and Brown on Friday. The Crusaders returned to the Hart Center on Saturday, where they defeated New Hampshire in overtime.
• Senior Nick Hale was named the Atlantic Hockey Defensive Player of the Week after scoring the overtime winner 33 seconds into the extra frame on Saturday.
• Senior Alex Peterson earned Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week honors for action from Nov. 21 to 27. Across the three games, he recorded a goal and two assists for three points, while also blocking two shots and going 32-27 (54.2 percent) on faceoffs.

 
SCOUTING AIR FORCE (6-8-2, 2-5-1 AHA):

• Air Force has lost three of its last four games, with its last win coming Nov. 12 against AHA opponent Bentley in Colorado Springs.
• Junior Luke Rowe was named the Atlantic Hockey Defensive Player of the Month for November. Rowe is second on the team with 11 points, recording six of them in the Falcons' six games during the span. He tacked on five blocked shots in the same timeframe.
• Starting goaltender Guy Blessing holds a 5-6-1 record with a 3.74 goals-against average and .877 save percentage.

 
LAST TIME THEY MET:

• Holy Cross is 15-25-13 all-time in the series against the Falcons.
• In their last meeting on Feb. 11 and 12, 2022, the Crusaders swept the weekend series in Colorado Springs. In the first game, the Crusaders pulled out a come-from-behind 3-2 win in overtime. The next day, Nick Hale and Jack Ricketts scored the first two goals of the contest for the Crusaders as they held on for a 3-2 victory in regulation.
