HANOVER, N.H. – Three players scored in double digits including junior
Bronagh Power-Cassidy who produced a team-high 17 points as the Holy Cross women's basketball team defeated Dartmouth 68-55 Sunday afternoon in Leede Arena.

Power-Cassidy dealt with foul trouble in the first half and came on strong in the second half for the Crusaders (4-2) with 13 of her 17 points during the final 20 minutes. Sophomore
Lindsay Berger recorded her second double-double of the season with 15 points and a game-high 12 rebounds. Freshman
Mary-Elizabeth Donnelly shot 60% from the floor (6-of-10) with a career-high 14 points and eight rebounds across 30 minutes of play off the bench.
For the Big Green (1-4), Olivia Lawlor chipped in a game-high 20 points while teammate Mekkena Boyd had a contest-best five steals.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Dartmouth took a 9-5 lead early in the first as Allie Harland drilled a transition three. The Crusaders responded with nine straight points part of an 11-2 run to lead 16-11. Senior Addisyn Cross knocked down a wide open trifecta from the left corner during the burst. A Lawlor and1 put the Big Green down two, but freshman Kaitlyn Flanagan hit a mid-range jumper to make the guests lead 18-14.
- With the game tied 18-18, Berger scored five points in 10 seconds. She converted a hoop and harm with the free throw and a Cross steal off the press resulted in two more points from Berger to increase the edge to 25-18. Dartmouth closed the half on a 12-to-6 burst to pull within one at the break.
- Donnelly drained a three-pointer from the corner off a baseline out of bounds play to push the Crusaders back ahead 38-35. Sophomore Callie Wright manufactured all seven of her points in the third quarter including a second chance follow up of a missed shot which gave the Crusaders their first double digit edge at 51-41.
- Berger connected on a second chance bucket late in the fourth to increase the lead to 68-49.
OUTSIDE THE BOX:
- Holy Cross shot a season-high 51.9% (27-of-52) from the field in the game.
- The Crusaders showed a willingness to make the extra pass as they had 19 assists on 27 field goal conversions.
- Flanagan dished out a career-high seven assists in the contest.
- Power-Cassidy reached 500 career points with 4:59 left in the first quarter.
- Holy Cross improved to 29-4 (.879) under head coach Maureen Magarity when holding opponents under 60 points.

- Holy Cross will duel Ivy League opponent Brown on the road Wednesday, Nov. 30.
