LEWISBURG, Pa. — The Holy Cross men's golf team finished in third place at the three day Bucknell Invitational Sunday through Tuesday in Lewisburg, Pa.
The Crusaders recorded their highest finish in a tournament since before COVID-19 which was first place out of 14 teams at the Lehigh Invitational on October 18, 2019.
Freshman
Brian Glennon paced Holy Cross with a team-low total of 217 (+7). Glennon was second in the field of golfers with 37 total pars.
COACH'S CORNER:
"I'm very pleased with our performance at Bucknell, especially for the resiliency that everyone showed during the final round," said head coach
Steve Napoli. "We had a pretty rough start on the front nine on Sunday, the team responded by playing the last nine holes in one under par, to secure a third place finish out of the nineteen colleges in the tournament."
