CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Holy Cross women's ice hockey team fell to Boston College, 4-1, on Friday, Jan. 21 at Conte Forum.

Bailey Bennett had the only goal of the afternoon for the Crusaders (3-19-0, 1-16-0 Hockey East) with a second-period strike.
Four different players scored for the Eagles (11-11-0, 9-8-0 Hockey East), with Kelly Browne assisting on three of those goals. Goaltender Kelly Pickreign stopped 32 of the 33 shots she faced.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- After a scoreless first period, Boston College scored three straight goals to take a 3-0 advantage by 16:54 of the second.
- Bennett got on the board at 18:43 of the second to make it a 3-1 game.
- Pickreign made 14 third-period saves to keep the Crusaders off the board; the Eagles added a goal 8:17 into the third to make it a 4-1 game.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- Freshman defenseman Emma Min assisted on Bennett's goal, marking her first collegiate point.
