WORCESTER, Mass. — The Holy Cross women's tennis team was defeated by Sacred Heart 7-0 at the Sinnott Family Tennis Facility. The Crusaders fall to 2-1 on the season, while the Pioneers improve to 2-0 overall.

Sacred Heart began the day by sweeping all three of the doubles matches. The Pioneers then went on to take all six of the singles matches in straight sets.

Holy Cross returns to action on Sunday, Sept. 26, when it plays host to Connecticut College at 12:00 p.m.
