FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield's Elle Scott tallied two goals and an assist to lead the Stags to a 6-0 victory over the Holy Cross women's soccer team at Lessing Field. The Crusaders fall to 0-5-0 on the season, while Fairfield improves to 3-2-0 overall.

The Stags jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first 15 minutes of action, with goals from Reagan Klarmann, Scott and Josie Horosky. Fairfield later added goals by Scott, Lexi Lehan and Angela Filosa in the second half to put the game away.

The Stags finished the game with a 21-9 advantage in shots and a 5-4 edge in corner kicks.

Holy Cross returns to action on Sunday, Sept. 5 when it plays host to Bryant at 1:00 p.m.
