NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass.— The Holy Cross men's cross country team competed in the 5-mile event at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The Crusaders placed 21st out of 33 teams with 570 points.
Sam Baker ran the fastest time of the day for Holy Cross, crossing the finish line in 26:50.9.
Henry Oswald finished just behind Baker, in 26:54.0.
The Crusaders other finishers were
Jack Welch (27:19.5),
Michael Cahill (27:26.8),
Alexander Thurber (28:21.3),
Drew Madsen (29:03.1) and
Luke Cuypers (30:50.4).
UMass Lowell won the team competition with 44 points.
