WORCESTER, Mass. — Senior Will Chen won his match at No. 1 singles, but the Holy Cross men's tennis team was defeated by Babson 6-1 at the Sinnott Family Tennis Facility. The Crusaders fall to 0-2 on the year, while the Beavers start the year at 1-0.

In the No. 1 singles match, Chen used a dominating performance to post a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Kian Yazdi. But Babson won the other five singles matches and swept all three doubles matches to claim the victory.

Holy Cross returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 25, when it plays host to Sacred Heart at 4:00 p.m.
