JACKSONVILLE, Fla.— Senior
Christa Jay Moore of the Holy Cross women's track and field team competed in the pole vault at the East Preliminary Round of the NCAA Championship, hosted by the University of North Florida, on Thursday, May 27.
Moore cleared 3.77 meters and placed 41st out of the top-48 competitors in the East Region.
This marks Moore's second appearance at the NCAA East Preliminary Round. Moore is just the second Crusader to ever qualify for the round twice, joining former teammate Zoe Matherne.
Moore concludes her Holy Cross career as the school record holder in the indoor pole vault (3.95 meters) and the outdoor pole vault (4.08 meters). Additionally, Moore owns the Patriot League Outdoor Championship record in the pole vault at 4.05 meters.
