Men’s varsity eight ranked for the fifth straight week

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross men's varsity eight is ranked No. 19 in the nation in the latest Intercollegiate Rowing Coaches Association poll. The Crusaders received 18 points in the poll, and have now been ranked for five consecutive weeks. This matches the school record for the most weeks being ranked in a single season, as the Crusaders were previously ranked in the final five polls of the 2015 campaign.

The Crusaders have faced which an incredibly tough schedule this season, including four opponents which are currently ranked: No. 4 Princeton, No. 8 Brown, No. 12 Temple and No. 13 George Washington. 

Holy Cross will return to action when it takes part in the Intercollegiate Rowing Association national championship regatta, which begins on May 28 at Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J.
