NEW BRITAIN, Conn.— The Holy Cross women's track and field team placed seventh out of 29 schools at the New England Outdoor Championship, on Saturday, May 15 at Veterans Stadium. The Crusaders had 38 team points and had their highest finish at the meet since 2013.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS:

• The 4x400 relay team consisting of Kate Ashley, Laura Turner, Elizabeth Larkin and Mimi Liebers placed third with a time of 3:54.10
• The 4x800 relay team of Emily Foley, Emily Koufos, Gabrielle Harmon and Hailey Mulville placed fourth with a time of 9:27.38.
• In the shot put, Jordyn Shubrick finished in ninth-place with a mark of 12.34 meters.
• Eva McCool-Guglielmo placed seventh in the triple jump with a mark of 11.03 meters.
