Senior offensive lineman
Brian Foley of the Holy Cross football team was named to the
Stats Perform FCS All-America second team on Monday, May 10. Foley is one of 83 players from 45 schools represented on the first and second teams.
A team captain, Foley became a three-time All-Patriot League first team selection this past spring after starting both of the Crusaders' regular-season games at left tackle. He helped propel Holy Cross to a Patriot League-leading 205.0 rushing yards per game and a conference-best 27.0 points per game in that span.
In his career, he appeared in 36 games on the offensive line for the Crusaders with 26 starts. In addition to his Patriot League honors this year, he was named to the All-ECAC Second Team in 2019, and was a Hero Sports Honorable Mention Sophomore All-American in 2018.
