HAMILTON, N.Y. – The Holy Cross swimming and diving teams finished the first day of the Patriot League Challenge in second place out of three teams.

In both the men's and the women's competitions, Boston University finished the day in first with Holy Cross in second and Colgate in third.

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Greta Walting came in first in the 100 breast (1:03.67).
• Emily Sullivan won the 400 IM (4:26.27).
• Ayden Chanin came in second in both the 500 free (5:06.18) and the 200 free (1:51.33).
• In the 400 medley relay, a team of Katy Saladin, Walting, Liz Fenton, and Emily Skilton came in second (3:51.28).
• Tim Manzella took second in the 400 IM (4:12.24).
• Troy Dalton placed second in the 1 meter dive (181.20).
