Women’s track and field competes at Colgate Invite

HAMILTON, N.Y.— The Holy Cross women's track and field team opened its indoor season at the Colgate Invite on Sunday, Feb. 21.
 
MEET HIGHLIGHTS:
  • Five Crusaders posted personal records throughout the season-opening meet.
  • Junior Jordyn Shubrick posted a first-place finish in the shot put with a mark of 11.29m and in the weight throw with a personal best mark of 16.48m.
  • Junior Kelsey O'Hara and senior Claire Hanlon each posted personal records in the mile with times of 5:08.82 and 5:10.67, respectively.
  • Juniors Emily Foley and Brianna Cummings rounded out the personal record marks on the day in the 800 meters. Foley posted a time of 2:23.41 and Cummings finished in 2:27.70.
  • Senior Mimi Liebers finished in first in the 400 meter dash with a time of 59.77.
  • Senior Marina MacKinnon won the 800 meters in a time of 2:21.42. 
UP NEXT
The Crusaders will head to Boston University for the Patriot League Challenge on Sunday, Feb. 28.
