PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The Holy Cross men's track and field team competed at Brown University's Alden Invitational to kick off the 2021-22 indoor season on Saturday, Dec. 4. 

MEET HIGHLIGHTS:

• Stephen Joseph placed second (1:08.52) and Andrew Van De Mark placed third (1;09.48) in the 500 meter dash.
• In the 1000 meters, Corey Kumamoto ran a time of 2:28.23 to place second.
• Jack Welch posted a time of 4:34.55 in the mile to finish in third.
• Mike Mazzocca had a personal best time of 8.21 to win the 60 meter hurdles and finished in third in the high jump with a mark of 2.02m.
• TJ Duggan took home second in the pole vault with a leap of 4.45m.
