The Holy Cross women's hockey team will play the University of Connecticut in a home-and-home Hockey East series on Friday, Dec. 3 and Saturday, Dec. 4. The Huskies will host the Crusaders at 6:30 p.m. on Friday at the Freitas Ice Forum before heading to the Hart Center Rink for a 1 p.m. matchup on Saturday.
Things To Know About the Crusaders (2-12-0, 1-9-0 Hockey East):
- Holy Cross will be in action for the first time since battling Boston College on Nov. 19, when the Eagles took a 4-2 victory over the Crusaders.
- Sophomore Bryn Saarela and junior Mary Edmonds each had a goal in the contest for the Crusaders.
- Edmonds leads the Crusaders this year with six points on two goals and four assists.
- Junior Darci Johal, who scored three goals in four games in November, leads Holy Cross with five goals this season.
