Women's hockey set to face Boston University

The Holy Cross women's ice hockey team will play Boston University in a home-and-home series beginning on Thursday, Nov. 11, with puck drop set for 6 p.m. in the Hart Center Rink. The series will conclude on Friday, Nov. 12 with a 7 p.m. contest at Walter Brown Arena.

Things To Know About the Crusaders (1-10-0, 0-7-0 Hockey East):
  • Holy Cross comes off a 5-3 loss to Merrimack on Nov. 6.
  • Senior Bailey Bennett and juniors Mary Edmonds and Darci Johal each had a goal in the contest.
  • Johal has scored three goals in five games; she is now tied with sophomore Millie Sirum for the team lead in goals, with three total on the year. Edmonds' goal was her first of the year.
  • Sirum is competing for Team Norway at the Olympic Qualifiers, scheduled from Nov. 11 to 14. Alumna Antonia Matzka '21 will also compete at the qualifiers for the Austrian National Team.
