WORCESTER, Mass. – Navy's Alexa Riddle scored her seventh goal of the season to lead the Midshipmen to a 1-0 victory over the Holy Cross women's soccer team at Linda Johnson Smith Stadium. The Crusaders fall to 1-14-1 overall and 0-7-1 in the Patriot League, while Navy improves to 10-5-3 on the season and 5-2-1 in the conference.
The only goal of the day came in the 16th minute, when Carolyn Mang played a long pass from midfield down the right side to Riddle, who dribbled behind the defense and into the box before scoring from 10 yards out.

Olivia Dubin made five saves on the day, while Mattie Gallagher recorded four saves for the Midshipmen.
Navy finished the game with an 11-8 advantage in shots and a 4-2 edge in corner kicks.
Holy Cross will conclude the 2021 season when it travels to Colgate for a 7:00 p.m. game on Wednesday, Oct. 27.
