BOSTON— The Holy Cross men's ice hockey team fell to the No. 10 Boston University Terriers, 5-1, in an exhibition matchup on Saturday night at Walter Brown Arena.
Sophomore
Jack Ricketts scored the first goal of the game on a breakaway to put the Crusaders up 1-0. Sophomore
Jake Higgins had the helper on Ricketts' tally. The Terriers went on to score five unanswered goals to eventually win the game, 5-1. The Crusaders held BU scoreless in the third period.
All three Holy Cross goalies saw action on Saturday. Junior
Matt Radomsky made eight saves, while freshman
Thomas Gale tallied 14 saves.
Erik Gordon closed out the game for the Crusaders and stopped all 12 shots he faced.
