WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross men's hockey team will play a home-and-home series against No. 19 AIC this Friday and Saturday. Friday's game will be played in Worcester at 5 p.m. with Saturday's contest in Springfield with puck drop slated for 2 p.m.

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT HOLY CROSS:

• Alec Cicero scored his first collegiate goal earlier this week against Bentley. Jack Ricketts collected his first collegiate assist on the same play.
• Alex Peterson scored the Crusaders' other goal in the game to tie for the team lead of four on the year. He increased his team-leading point total to nine.
• Ryan Leibold has three points over the last three games, all coming from assists.                    

SCOUTING AIC:

• The Yellow Jackets have only played one game since taking on Holy Cross two weeks again, an 8-2 thumping of Sacred Heart.
• In the contest, all eight of AIC's goals were scored by a different player and 17 different Yellow Jackets picked up at least a point. Eric Otto led the way with three points.
• On the season, Tobias Fladeby leads the team with 16 points from nine goals and seven assists.

EARLIER THIS SEASON:

• On Jan. 17, Holy Cross and AIC faced off in a 1-0 contest won by the Yellow Jackets.
• Erik Gordon made 30 saves in the contest and the Crusaders killed eight Yellow Jacket penalties, but it wasn't enough for the win.
