WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross men's hockey team will play its first game in three and a half weeks this Sunday, Jan. 17 at 1 p.m. at AIC.

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT HOLY CROSS:
- The Crusaders sit at 4-4 on the year, but are 3-1 against Atlantic Hockey competition, with two of those wins coming in overtime against Bentley.
- In their most recent two games, the Crusaders fell to then-No. 16 Quinnipiac in a home-and-home series back on Dec. 22 and 23.
- Alex Peterson leads the team with seven points from three goals and four assists. Jake Pappalardo has a team-high four goals.
- Erik Gordon has started six games in goal for Holy Cross and has posted a 4-2-0 record along with a .907 save percentage and a 2.32 goals against average.
- The Crusaders have scored on 17.2% of its power plays and killed 83.3% of its penalties faced.
SCOUTING AIC:
- In a stark contrast to the Crusaders, the Yellow Jackets have played seven games since Dec. 23 and have gone 4-3-0 over that span. Wins were over LIU and Army, while AIC fell twice to Quinnipiac and once to Army.
- The Yellow Jackets are led by Tobias Fladeby and his 16 points from nine goals and seven assists. He also has a team-high four power play goals. Chris Theodore leads the team with nine asissts.
- Stefano Durante has played in 10 of the team's 12 games in goal, posting a 7-3-0 record and a .906 save percentage and a 2.31 goals against average.
- The Yellow Jackets have been clicking on the power play, scoring on 24.5% of their chances, but have struggled on the kill, only posting a 71.7% mark.
