WORCESTER, Mass. — The Holy Cross football team has been ranked among the top squads in the nation in the
College Football America Yearbook 2020 Preseason FCS Top 30. The Crusaders, listed at No. 30 in the rankings, were the only Patriot League team selected for the Top 30. North Dakota State was picked as the preseason No. 1 team in the nation.
Holy Cross is coming off a 2019 campaign in which it went 7-6 overall, won the Patriot League championship with a 5-1 mark in conference games and advanced to the NCAA football championship subdivision playoffs. The Crusaders will return 15 starters off that team, including six student-athletes who earned All-Patriot League honors a year ago: sophomore wide receiver
