SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Holy Cross men's hockey team was defeated by American International at the MassMutual Center, 2-0.
Matt Radomsky stopped 32 shots in the outing.
The teams played through a quiet first period, with the Yellow Jackets taking a 13-4 shot advantage. The Crusaders best chance of the game came when
Ryan Leibold rang a shot off the corner post.
Both teams had opportunities on the power play in the second period, but the score remained knotted at 0-0 through 40 minutes.
The Yellow Jackets scored two goals within three minutes to pick up a two-goal lead with under four minutes remaining in regulation.
Matt Radomsky made 32 saves in the game while the Crusaders tallied 20 shots on goal.
