HAMDEN, Conn. – The Holy Cross men's hockey team fell to No. 16 Quinnipiac 6-1 Tuesday evening in just the second road game of the season for the Crusaders.

The Bobcats struck early as they scored two goals in the opening period to grab the lead. Holy Cross answered in the second when Jake Pappalardo gained control of a deflected puck in the slot and beat the Quinnipiac goalie for a power play goal.

It wasn't enough as the Bobcats would add three goals of their own in the second and one more in the third to claim the 6-1 victory.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Pappalardo's goal moves him into the team lead with four on the season. It was also his first power play strike of the season and the team's fifith.
• Matt Radomsky made 29 saves in net in his first appearance since the first game of the season.
