WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross men's hockey team takes on Quinnipiac in a non-conference home-and-home series this Tuesday, Dec. 22 and Wednesday, Dec. 23. The Crusaders will travel to the Bobcats on Tuesday before hosting them on Wednesday. Both games will begin at 5 p.m.

Talking Points:
- It's been almost two weeks since the Crusaders took the ice, but the last time they were out there they picked up their second overtime win of the season over Bentley, 4-3, on Dec. 9
- Goals by Jake Pappalardo, Alex Peterson, and Andrew Dumaresque gave Holy Cross a 3-1 lead in the second period. Before the second frame came to an end, Bentley had clawed its way back to even at 3-3.
- Logan Ferguson went top shelf for the game-winner just 46 seconds into the extra period.
- Matt Slick was named the Atlantic Hockey Defensive Player of the Week for his effort in the win. He had an assist on the game-winner and also blocked a team-high four shots.
- On the season, Peterson leads the team with seven points from three goals and four assists. The four assists are also a team-high, while he is tied for the team lead in goals with Ferguson and Pappalardo.
- Erik Gordon has earned all four Crusader wins in goal, posting a 2.19 goals against average and .907 save percentage along the way.
- Holy Cross is converting on 18.2% of its power plays, while killing 89.5% of its penalties.
Scouting Quinnipiac:
- Quinnipiac is coming off a pair of losses to then-No.12/13 Bowling Green. The Bobcats dropped the first game by a score of 4-1, before improving slightly in the second but still falling 4-2.
- On the season, Zach Metsa leads the team in assists with six and points with seven. Wyatt Bongiovanni and Nick Bochen share the team lead of two goals.
- Keith Petruzzelli has played in all four games in goal for the Bobcats and has posted a 2.06 goals against average and a .927 save percentage.
- Quinnipiac opened the season with a pair of wins over familiar Atlantic Hockey opponent, Sacred Heart. The Bobcats crushed the Pioneers 9-2 in the first game, but came away with a much tighter win in the second, 2-1 in overtime.
