Scouting Bentley:
- The Falcons have yet to play a game this season, so Tuesday's contest will serve as their season opener.
- Bentley returns four of its five leading scorers from the 2019-20 season, including junior Jakov Novak who was tied for the team lead last year with 30 points from 16 goals and 14 assists. The 16 goals were good for the team lead.
- In goal, the Falcons return junior Fraser Kirk and sophomore Jason Grande. Aidan Pelino saw the most time between the pipes last season, but he has since graduated. Kirk posted an 8-3-1 record last year in 15 games played and had a .907 save percentage and a 2.23 goals against average. Grande only saw action in six games, going 0-2-0, and posting a .890 save percentage and a 2.63 goals against average. Bentley adds freshman Nicholas Grabko to the mix this year as well.
- The Falcons swept all four meetings against the Crusaders last season. They won a pair by scores of 3-2 and 4-1 last November, before claiming 3-2 and 6-2 victories to wrap up the regular season.
