WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross women's ice hockey head coach Katie Lachapelle and associate head coach Meredith Roth, along with the U.S. U22 and U18 Women's Select teams, are set to begin their series against Canada that run from today through Aug. 17.
Lachapelle is serving as an assistant coach with the U22s and Roth with the U18s. Both have spent the last week and a half at the 2019 Women's National Festival in Lake Placid, N.Y. and will wrap things up with the two, three-game series against Canada.
Also spending time in Lake Placid with USA Hockey is Holy Cross women's ice hockey's new director of operations Nicholas Neary. Neary worked in video production during the National Festival and will continue to serve during the teams' series. Rounding out Holy Cross' representation was associate director of media relations and the Holy Cross men's ice hockey's media relations contact, Moira Sweeney. Sweeney served as a member of Hockey Operations during the National Festival.
Games begin today with the U18 team at 4 p.m. and the U22 team at 7 p.m. All games will be streamed on HockeyTV.
