WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women's tennis team was named a 2019 International Tennis Association All-Academic Team, as announced by the ITA Thursday. In addition, six student-athletes earned ITA Scholar-Athlete distinctions including seniors Fiona Busser, Caroline Kam, Jennifer Kary, and Morgan McGuire, junior Eleanor Fulghum, and sophomore Jenna Tubby.
For a team to be eligible for the all-academic team award, it must earn a cumulative team grade point average of at least 3.20. A student-athlete individually must earn at least a 3.50 to receive scholar-athlete recognition.
In total, 735 teams and 4,328 student-athletes were honored across all divisions, both men and women. To see the full DI women's list, click here.
