WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross men's hockey team fell to Sacred Heart, 4-2, at the Hart Center on Nov. 8. After falling behind, 4-0, the Crusaders battled back and scored two goals but their comeback fell short.

Neil Robinson netted goals for the Crusaders.
The Pioneers controlled the first period, getting out to a lead before the midpoint. Sacred Heart added a second goal later in the period to hold a 2-0 lead through the first 20 minutes. The Pioneers held the shot advantage, 13-8.
The second period saw more offensive pressure from the Crusaders but Pioneer netminder Josh Benson turned aside all six shots the Crusaders put on net. A late power play goal from Sacred Heart pushed the score to 3-0.
The Crusaders held a 15-3 shot advantage in the third period but Sacred Heart scored once more to make the game 4-0 before Holy Cross was able to find the back of the net. The Crusader scored two goals in two minutes to close the differential to 4-2. Playing nearly one minute and a half with an extra skater, the Crusaders were unable to even the score line.
