BOSTON – The Holy Cross women's hockey team lost to Boston University, 7-1, Saturday afternoon at Walter Brown Arena in Boston.
The Terriers got off to a fast start, recording four goals in the first period and they carried that over, tallying three more in the second frame.
The Crusaders did get one back in the second when, on the man advantage, Danielle Doherty sent one out to Victoria Young at the point. Young fired it towards goal where Rachel Moore was able to tip it just enough to record her sixth of the year.
Neither side scored in the third to wrap things up and give BU the victory.

- Holy Cross has now converted on the power play in four of its last five games.
