DURHAM, N.H. - The Holy Cross men's cross country team opened the season at the University of New Hampshire and took third place out of three teams. Providence took first with 15 points and had eight runners finish in the top ten. New Hampshire took second with 52 points and Holy Cross finished with 79 points.
Freshman Joseph Leland took 16th place and had the best time for the Crusaders (15:46.06). Freshman Corey Kumamoto was right behind Leland in 17th place with time of 15:46.54. Senior William Hoffmann finished in 25th place and had the third best time for Holy Cross (15:57.04).
